Based on multivariate regression analysis that included albumin (≥4.0 g/dl), γ-GTP (≥44 IU/L), leptin (≥8.6 ng/ml), resistin (≥8.8 ng/ml), hyaluronic acid (≥76.4 ng/ml), presence of diabetes, and age (≥55 years), leptin was independently associated with hepatic steatosis (Table 6).
