In fact, a few Hsp90 inhibitors, which promote HSF1 activity and induce Hsp70 expression, exert neuroprotection in several animal models of amyloids, including polyglutamines [20], [21], [24], Parkinson's disease [18], [38], [39], and cellular models of Alzheimer's disease [40]–[42]. Here, HSF1 is linked to Parkinson disease.
