The results of pooling all studies showed that the IL10 -1082 G/A polymorphism was not associated with TB susceptibility in general population under all genetic models (A allele vs. G allele: OR =  0.97, 95% CI = 0.79–1.20, P = 0.81; AA+GA vs. GG: OR =  0.95, 95% CI  =  0.68–1.34, P = 0.79; AA vs. GA+ GG: OR =  0.92, 95% CI = 0.75–1.14, P = 0.46; AA vs. GG: OR =  0.90, 95% CI = 0.61–1.33, P = 0.59; GA vs. GG: OR =  0.99, 95% CI = 0.72–1.36, P = 0.96) (Figure 2).
