IL10 and tuberculosis: In the current meta-analysis, we did not find a significant relationship between IL-10 -592A/C polymorphism and TB risk (C allele vs. A allele: OR =  0.99, 95% CI = 0.83–1.18, P = 0.90; CC+AC vs. AA: OR = 0.89, 95% CI  =  0.74–1.08, P = 0.25; CC vs. AC+AA: OR =  0.92, 95% CI = 0.78–1.09, P = 0.32; CC vs. AA: OR =  0.87, 95% CI = 0.68–1.11, P = 0.27; AC vs. AA: OR = 0.90, 95% CI = 0.76–1.07, P = 0.24) (Figure 4).
