IL10 and tuberculosis: The results showed that there was no statistically significant association between IL-10 -819C/T polymorphism and TB risk in general population (C allele vs. T allele: OR =  0.98, 95% CI = 0.92–1.05, P = 0.59; CC+TC vs. TT: OR =  1.03, 95% CI  =  0.85–1.25, P = 0.77; CC vs. TC+TT: OR =  0.87, 95% CI = 0.73–1.05, P = 0.15; CC vs. TT: OR =  0.98, 95% CI = 0.85–1.12, P = 0.73; TC vs. TT: OR =  1.09, 95% CI = 0.85–1.41, P = 0.49) (Figure 3).
