This phenotypic overexpression promotes activity of RTKs leading to overactivation of their downstream events and cascades, including Gabs [41,42], Shp2 [43] and the PI3K/Akt/mTORC1 and Ras/ERK1/2 signaling pathways leading to progression, invasion and metastasis of breast cancer [44,45].
