Interestingly, in the Kaplan-Meier analysis, patients with higher circulating TNF-a were more likely to display liver disease progression according to both endpoints, i.e. ALT > 200 IU/L (log rank p = 0.04) and Fib-4 > 1.45 (log rank p = 0.0004).
