Whereas the anti-CD137L+pGC−FU−CyPA group displayed significantly increased cap collagen content and thickened fibrous cap with increasing fibrous tissue on histological examination compared with the anti−CD137L+pGC−FU−NC group, the mice almost completely lost the atherosclerosis suppression that is normally exhibited by anti-CD137L (Fig. 2). The gene discussed is TNFSF9; the disease is atherosclerosis.
