In order to determine the clinical relevance of EFEMP1 in glioblastoma, we determined the EFEMP1 expression levels in multiple publicly available glioblastoma datasets [27–34] using the microarray analysis and visualization platform R2 (http://r2.amc.n1) and showed a significant overexpression of EFEMP1 in glioblastoma tissues as compared to non-neoplastic brain tissue (Fig. 6A). This evidence concerns the gene EFEMP1 and glioblastoma.
