CCND1 and neoplasm: A previous report showed that the EZH2 oncogene induces the inactivation of tumor suppressor genes (MYT1, WNT1, KCNA1, and CNR1) in HeLa nuclear extracts [27] and it has been also found in stimulating expression of a series of proliferative genes, including several cyclin genes, such as Cyclin D1 and Cyclin E, that are required for the proliferation of CC cells [28].
