The different significance level of the “new” markers as compared to KLK3/PSA (p = 1.2 × 10−16 for FLNC, 1.67 × 10−9 for CLDN3, 1.89 × 10−3 for KLK3/PSA) could indicate that these markers are more powerful for the discrimination of cancer and normal tissue.
