Gas6 concentrations in the CSF from patients with various diagnoses including multiple sclerosis, stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, headache, psychiatric conditions simulating neurological diseases, otologic dizziness, Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS) or chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy were 5.6–11.5 ng/ml (Sainaghi et al., 2008, 2013). Here, GAS6 is linked to Guillain-Barre syndrome.
