These results are consistent with those obtained in a genome-wide human siRNA screen targeting more than 20 000 genes, suggesting that the knock-down of QSOX1 leads to an increase of GFP-LC3 puncta in the absence, but not in the presence of a lysosomal protease inhibitor (E64d) in neuroblastoma cells [45].
