CNTNAP2 and autism: Analysis of the relative affinity of antibodies from patients with autistic disorder binding to the 545–550 aa region of CNTNAP2 against antisera from mice immunized using the same region as well as analysis of antibody affinity-to-neurotoxicity relationships and visualized regional binding characteristics on human neurons could support the hypotheses that antibodies binding to the 545–550 aa region of CNTNAP2 are causative in human neurological disorders.
