Moreover, further analysis of biological pathways related to these genes showed that a majority of immune- (e.g. T cell receptor signalling, natural killer cell mediated cytotoxicity and graft rejection), autoimmune- (e.g. autoimmune thyroid disease pathway, type 1 diabetes mellitus and rheumatoid arthritis) and inflammation- (e.g., GVHD and NF-kB signalling) related processes were down-regulated by the Cy treatment (Figure 3A).
