Considering the ubiquitous nature of epistasis in genetic architecture of common human diseases [11] and to compensate for the inadequacy of our family study [6], we therefore designed a case-control study in a large northeastern Han Chinese population, and sought to explore the potential interaction of AGTRL1 gene six sequencing-derived common polymorphisms (rs7119375, rs10501367, rs9943582, rs11544374, rs948847 and rs2282623) in susceptibility to hypertension. This evidence concerns the gene APLNR and Hypertension.
