Lin−/Sca1+ cells failed to mobilize to the peripheral blood following stroke+SDF1-A antibody (Figure 3), despite continued up regulation in the bone marrow (bone marrow cell counts with stroke+SDF1-A antibody: 536±65% versus stroke+placebo: 272±60%, p<0.05; blood cell counts = SDF1-A antibody: 127±24% versus stroke+placebo: 607±159%, p<0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL12 and stroke disorder.
