In a report evaluating the nature of tumor-associated Th17 lymphocytes in ovarian cancer patients, it was demonstrated that the percentage of these cells correlated with the number of IFNγ+ CD4+ T cells, IL-17+ IFNγ+, IFNγ+ CD8+ T cells as well as NK cells and inversely correlated with the frequency of immunosuppressive Treg cells [37]. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and ovarian carcinoma.
