This study examined the association of serum leptin and adiponectin in OA and NOA children in relation with asthma control and we found that serum leptin and adiponectin concentrations did not differ among well controlled, partial controlled, and uncontrolled asthma groups suggesting that serum leptin levels may not have a major role among asthma control groups with obesity. Here, LEP is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
