A combination of low TL1A and undetectable DcR3 levels in serum at the baseline correlates with decrease of new atheromatic plaques in carotid arteries and/or femoral arteries of RA patients over a follow-up period of 3.5 years, suggesting that serum TL1A and DcR3 levels might predict a preserved atherosclerosis profile in carotid and/or femoral arteries. Here, TNFRSF6B is linked to atherosclerosis.
