As presented in Figure 1, the following potential prostate cancer metastasis-driving genes were identified: GATA2, TRIM24, MTPN, HIF1A, WT1, and EZH2. The GATA2 transcription factor gene was of particular interest since, as a pioneer factor in prostate cancer, it has a potential role in cellular reprogramming and hence in the development of metastasis [30–32]. Here, HIF1A is linked to prostate cancer.
