Soto et al.[36] reported that women with late-onset preeclampsia had significantly lower PlGF and soluble VEGF receptor-2 levels, lower PlGF/soluble endoglin and PlGF/soluble VEGF receptor-1 ratios, and higher soluble VEGF receptor-1 and soluble endoglin levels than normal pregnant women. Here, PGF is linked to preeclampsia.
