The polymorphisms we used were based on earlier reports showing significant associations with RA, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease [18], [23], [24], [25] and included three SNPs (rs6540679, rs12569232, rs10863888) of TRAF5 and three SNPs (rs13210247, rs33980500, rs13190932) of TRAF3IP2 (Table 3). The gene discussed is TRAF3IP2; the disease is psoriasis.
