Overall, no significant association was found between TNF-a 238G/A polymorphism and the risk of colorectal cancer under homozygote comparison [AA vs. GG, OR (95% CI) = 1.23 (0.24–6.23); Figure 3A] or heterozygote comparison [AG vs. GG, OR (95% CI) = 0.74 (0.47–1.17), Figure 3B].
