In this study, we characterized the frequency of peripheral blood Th22, Th17 and Th1 cells using flow cytometry analysis and measured the levels of serum IL-22, IL-17, IFN-γ, autoantibodies, free triiodothyronine (FT4), free thyroxine (FT3), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), using ELISA and radioimmunoassay in 17 Chinese patients with newly-diagnosed HT and 17 gender- and age-matched healthy controls (HC). The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is hematocrit.
