Of the 166 advanced NSCLC patients who were successfully undergone ALK screening by FISH, 59 harbored ALK rearrangement including two (3.4%, 2/59) patients with concurrent EGFR mutation, 20 showed EGFR mutation, 87 were wild type with ALK-negative and EGFR-negative or EGFR-unknown (wild type cohort, WT). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
