The percentage of CD4+CD25+CD127- T cells decreased slightly, but not significantly, in patients with active SSc (6.25 ± 1.22%, n = 13) compared with patients with stable disease (6.47 ± 1.49%, P > 0.05, n = 32) and healthy controls (7.14 ± 1.61%, P > 0.05, n = 24; Figure 3F). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and systemic sclerosis.
