There were no statistically significant difference in regard to baseline parameters such as sex, weight, comorbidity (11 patients with hypertension [26%], 5 patients with ischemic heart disease [12%], 2 patients with gastrointestinal diseases [4.7%], one with lumbar herniated disc [2.4%], a patient with inherited neurofibromyalgia[2.4%], a patient with cataract [2.4%], and one patient with glaucoma [2.4%]), hypertension, concurrent drug therapy, and laboratory data such as FBS, Cr, BUN, WBC count, ESR, CRP (Table 1).
