Patients with nuclear DACH1 positivity showed a significant association with cancer specific survival (n = 81 (54%); χ2 = 11.96, p<0.001), disease free interval (n = 81 (54%); χ2 = 15.33, p<0.001), tumour recurrence (n = 72 (52%); χ2 = 16.49, p<0.001) and distant metastasis (n = 72 (51%); χ2 = 16.31, p<0.001) over 5 years post diagnosis (Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene DACH1 and cancer.
