The results showed that low levels of CD4+FoxP3+ Treg cells but not CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cells were associated with an increased risk for myocardial infraction, and neither CD4+ FoxP3+ Treg cells nor CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg cells were associated with stroke.
