Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is chronic systemic inflammatory and autoimmune disease of unknown etiology that primarily targets synovial tissue and is characterized by an activation of T lymphocyte, an increase in interleukin and tumor necrosis factor, and severe chronic inflammation of the joints, resulting in erosion and destruction of cartilage, bone, and tendon [1, 2]. Here, TNF is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
