Other transgenic models have been developed, such as SM1 RAG-2 deficient mice, that allow the visualization of Salmonella flagellin-specific CD4+ T cell responses (91), SMARTA transgenic mice, that produce CD4+ T cells expressing Va2 and Vb8.3 TCR specific for the lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) epitope gp61–80 (92), and Ag85B241–255 TCR-transgenic mice that allow to characterize tuberculosis-specific immune response (86).
