In chronic monomyelocytic leukemia (CMML) the PDGFRβ gene has been found to be fused with the gene encoding the transcription factor TEL; the N-terminal of the fusion protein contains sequences from TEL which is followed by the intracellular part of the receptor containing the kinase domain[152] (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene ETV6 and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.
