Recently, we demonstrated Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF-α), and Bradykinin, respectively involved in rheumatoid arthritis and hereditary angioedema induced the cleavage of VE-cadherin ecto-domain (named soluble VE-cadherin or sVE, 90 kDa) in a Src dependent manner, [16,17]. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and hereditary angioedema.
