RHEBP1 and myocardial infarction: Our recent study, which investigated the effects of half-knock out of Rheb1 in adult mice in myocardial infarction (MI) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), showed that reduction of Rheb1-mTORC1 signaling protects against pathological heart remodeling in MI and HCM [6].
