This proposal is consistent with earlier studies that have shown a positive correlation between memory deficits and levels of carbamoylation in rat brain (Crist et al. 1973) or suggested that carbamoylated albumin may be clinically used to predict risks for neuropathy in uremic patients (Kraus and Kraus 2001Berg et al. 2013Kalim et al. 2013).
