Here, we report that immunization with two TGF-β1 kinoids, which are prepared by cross-linking two fragments of TGF-β1-derived polypeptide with keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH), elicits the production of a high titer of neutralizing autoantibodies against TGF-β1 and significantly suppresses CCl4-induced hepatic fibrosis in BALB/c mice. This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and Hepatic fibrosis.
