Based on a previous study (10), pathomorphology and immunohistochemistry were used in the current study to investigate the expression of p-Akt and cyclin D1 in normal ovarian tissue (NOT), ovarian serous cystadenoma (OSA), ovarian serous borderline tumors (OS-BT) and OSC samples to further investigate the role of p-Akt in the development of ovarian epithelial cancer and its possible effect on cyclin D1 signaling pathway activation. Here, CCND1 is linked to borderline ovarian serous tumor.
