(2011) demonstrated that in prostate and breast cancer cell lines, EZH2 represses a set of miRNAs (miR-181c, miR-181b, miR-200b, miR-200c, and miR-203), which in turn negatively regulate the PRC1 subcomponents BMI1 and RING2. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and breast cancer.
