As a model set for testing our hypotheses, we chose four epigenetic regulators ASXL1, EZH2, DNMT3A, and TET2, which are frequently mutated in the myeloid malignancies comprising around 25% of all hematological malignancies, with annual incidence of 7.6 per 100 000 [24].
