FOXM1 is known to regulate the expression of important AOS genes including catalase, superoxide dismutase 2 (SOD2) and PRDX3 [97, 98] which we found to be highly overexpressed in multiple cancers (group 6) (Table S1), at the exception of catalase, exclusively overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (group 3) (Table S1). The gene discussed is CAT; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
