To examine the degree to which the two new signatures provide additional information to the previously identified DTF/TGCT/CSF1 signatures, we stratified breast cancer into four categories based on DTF/EF signatures for good outcome (DTF+/EF+, DTF+/EF-, DTF-/EF+, DTF-/EF-) or FOTS/TGCT/CSF1 signatures for poor outcome (FOTS+/TGCT/CSF1+, FOTS-/TGCT/CSF1+, FOTS+/TGCT/CSF1-, FOTS-/TGCT/CSF1-) in the four breast cancer datasets.
