Kaplan-Meier survival analyses showed that patients whose tumor expressed a high level of EGFR protein (moderate and strong positives, 19.6% [11/56]) had significantly shorter disease-free and overall survival than patients whose tumor expressed a low level of EGFR protein (negatives and weak positives, 80.4% [45/56]; Figure 2E and F). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and neoplasm.
