SERPINC1 and IgA glomerulonephritis: We suggest that over-representation of antithrombin-III (SERPINC1) andalpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M) as two major regulatory proteins of the coagulation pathway which observed in the dataset may explain implementation of complement and coagulation pathway in IgA nephropathy mechanism by inhibition coagulation cascade and thus leading to availability of substrates for the kallikerein-kinin system and complement cascade (Figure 5).
