For this purpose, we first performed immunohistochemical staining to detect the expression pattern of PTEN and PLZF of 50 prostate cancer specimens, which were divided into low, moderate, and high grade of subgroups according to Gleason score (GS) ranging from 5 to 9 (Table S1), as described in Materials and methods.
