DNAJB9 and infection: As shown in Figure 5A, infection with the TcpB deletion mutant (ΔTcpB) resulted in ≈60% decreased expression of BiP, CHOP and ERdj4 as compared to wild type Brucella. Note, some CHOP up-regulation by the TcpB mutant was still detectable (p≤0.005 vs. NI).
