Prior to the initial implant, 7/20 (35%) treatment-naive subjects had prepubertal 0 minute LH levels (< 0.3 mIU/mL) despite peak GnRHa-stimulated LH levels diagnostic of CPP (> 10 mIU/mL), demonstrating the relatively limited sensitivity of a random LH to diagnose CPP. This evidence concerns the gene PLOD1 and central precocious puberty.
