In our current study, we confirmed that the transcriptional and post-translational levels of TGM3 were down-regulated in HNSCC cell lines and specimens compared with normal primary head and neck epithelial cells and paired adjacent normal tissues, by means of the real-time RT-PCR, semi-quantitative RT-PCR and western blotting. Here, TGM3 is linked to head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
