CETP and coronary atherosclerosis: To help clarify whether the CETP SNPs which were previously shown to be associated with plasma HDL-C levels and also confirmed in a genome-wide association study [10,13-17] are associated with susceptibility of coronary atherosclerosis and plasma HDL-C levels, we examined seven SNPs in the CETP gene (rs1800775, rs708272, rs5882, rs1532624, rs1864163, rs7499892, and rs9989419) in a case–control study in Chinese population.
