In our working model, activation of TRPM7 by various stimuli modulates intracellular Mg2+ and/or Ca2+ levels and interact with the epidermal growth factors (EGF-) induced signaling pathways, resulting in cell cycle progression, cell survival, and cell migration in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (Figure 2).
