Searching Oncomine (www.oncomine.org), we have found two datasets that showed a significant over-expression of SAMSN1 in GBM as compared with normal brain (p = 2.55E-6 and 2.02E-11, fold change = 4.423 and 4.519, respectively), and an additional dataset showed that SAMSN1 was expressed higher in GBM than was found in other kinds of glioma (p = 3.75E-8, fold change = 2.664). The gene discussed is SAMSN1; the disease is glioma.
