Overall, a significant association between the CYP4A11 T8590C polymorphism and hypertension was found in the additive model (OR: 1.15, 95% CI: 1.02–1.29, P = 0.02), the dominant model (OR: 1.06, 95% CI: 1.01–1.32, P = 0.03), the recessive model (OR: 1.52, 95% CI: 1.15–2.02, P = 0.003) and the homozygote model (OR: 1.38, 95% CI: 1.07–1.78, P = 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene CYP4A11 and hypertensive disorder.
